it is said by some that the most recognizable idols are those that are known by their one name eg madonna, sting, prince, etc, etc, etc

but you know that you are the shit when you are known in different countries by different names and no matter where your fans are in the world they recognize your name even when it is spoken and written in other languages

without a doubt my absofreakinglutely fave bb/ig (boy band/idol group) is **drumroll please ** tah dah .... DBSK (Dong Bang Shin Ki) aka DBSG (Dong Bang Shin Gi) aka THSK (Tōhōshinki) TOHO (Tōhōshinki) aka TVXQ (Tong Vfang Xien Qi) aka TVfXQ (Tong Vfang Xien Qi) aka RGoTE (Rising Gods of the East - ok, so i just invented this one)

what can i say about this fab bb/ig that has not already been said countless of times - my two fave things about them are their personalities and their talents

they compose some of their own songs, sing like the veins in their necks are about to pop out and can hold a tune and harmonize to some sweet muzik that makes you feel like you are downing that oh so starbuckacious sweet caramel macchiato that has finally been made correctly and is smoothly gliding down your throat in an orgasmic caffeinated sucrose infused high ... ahhhhhhhhhhhhh - delish .........

they are a s. korean quintet boy band who debuted in 2004 under the infamously famous SM entertainment - they are fluent in Korean and Japanese, have released their albums in both languages and spend their timely roughly equally divided between both countries - their two main fanclubs are called cassopiea (korean) and big east (japanese) - the Cassopian fanclub is in the guiness book of world records as the largest fanclub in the world

shim changmin - stage name choikang changmin aka max changmin
park yoochun - stage name micky yoochun aka yuchun

some of my fave songs that they have sang live are the japanese versions of "proud," "love in the ice" and "darkness eyes" (no lipsyncing in the versions seen below although there are rumours that they do lipsync their fast dance track songs, because of the difficulties involved in doing energetic and difficult dances while singing perfectly)

the live song "proud" was sang at the end of the their successful Five In The Black concert and some of the members started to cry as they thought of all of the years of hardship that they had endured to get to that point - this live version always makes me cry ...
